Filip Mišković has won First Prize in more than 40 guitar competitions, including Anna Amalia
Competition
for Young Guitarists in Weimar,
Rago International Guitar Competition in Stuttgart and the International Guitar Competition for Young
Guitarists ‘Andres Segovia’ in Monheim am Rhein;
he won Second Prize in the Senior Division of the GFA Annual International Youth Competition in Miami 2019.
In the open age category,
he won First Prize at the Poreč Fest Competition and Second Prize in the Zagreb Guitar Festival Competition.
In 2023, Filip won first prize on XI. Croatian Competition of Young Artists in Music ‘Papandopulo’ in
open
category
which gives him opportunity to play in the Concert Hall ‘Vatroslav Lisinski’, the most prestigious
concert
halls in Croatia.
As a soloist, Filip Mišković has performed with Zagreb Philharmonic conducted by Matija Fortuna,
‘I Giovani Solisti’ from the USA, conducted by Emmet Drake,
and with Croatian National Theatre Orchestra in Split,
conducted by Gianna Fratta.
The Ministry of Science, Education and Sports awarded him seven ‘Oscars of Knowledge’. In 2019, he
was given
the title ‘Splitski pupoljak’
as a rising star in Split, in 2020, he received the Rector’s Prize from the University of
Zagreb and, in 2024 he was awarded the Dean's Prize from The Academy of Music, University of Zagreb.
He is a member of „EuroStrings Artist“ collaboration (2021) which is known as one of the important EU
platforms for young guitarists.
He started his guitar studies with prof. Vicko Novak and then continued with prof. Maroje Brčić.
He finished his master degree at the Academy of Music, University of Zagreb in the class of prof. Darko Petrinjak,
and currently Filip is a student of maestro Zoran Dukić at Royal Conservatory of The Hague.
Filip Mišković is a member of "Knobloch Strings" family and he plays on guitar made by French luthier Jean-Noël Rohé.
